Role overview

To lead, develop and grow Citygate Fleet. Creating business development opportunities with direct corporate customers as well as supplying the Contract Hire & Leasing companies. Managing existing customers as well as generating leads, managing a new business customer pipeline and ultimately converting prospects into customers.

Managing a team of Local Business Development Managers and Administration staff, meeting and exceeding volume / customer service targets and ultimately leading a profitable business channel which compliments the Citygate brand, becoming a recognised and preferred provider of services in our chosen market.Key responsibilities

As the Head of Fleet your key responsibilities will be:

• Provide management and leadership to the new Citygate Fleet business channel, operating self-sufficiently and promoting a strong desire for growth and success
• Recruit, lead, train and motivate a high performing team
• Establish robust prospect management and customer conversion protocols to drive growth and exceed volume-based targets
• Work closely and build stronger relationships with all VAG brands – including VW and Skoda
• Work closely with Citygate Leasing colleagues to unlock leasing and salary sacrifice opportunities with corporate customers
• Maximise opportunities with the Brands, including unlocking CTP deals
• Prepare and maintain corporate collateral for prospect / customer communication and engagement (presenting all fleet related services)
• Identify and convert Contract Hire & Leasing “preferred supply status” opportunities (responding to tenders and developing stronger relationships)
• Implementation and management of all operational & customer journey processes
• Budgetary responsibility, ensuring margin and profitability targets are met / exceeded
• Interaction with each retail operation to ensure the seamless transfer and management of referral opportunities
• Ensure all controls and (regulatory) compliance regulations are in place and current
